My name is Karen. I am born and raised in Narsaq.

My interest in working with tourism started in January 2013 when I started to study Arctic Guide in Campus Kujalleq, which is located in Qaqortoq.

I am certified Arctic Guide and I am educated service management w/ speciality in tourism.

I have been working with tourism in 10 years. My goal is to develop tourism in South Greenland and not least help young people to find their what kind of passion they would like to have in the future, such as I have passion for working with tourism - which means I want to create job opportunities.

I believe that our greenlandic culture should be shown by local operators. I believe that it is very important to have local knowledge.

And I love to tell about our culture in Greenland.

That is why I started up this small business

SG Tours offers guided tours in Narsaq & Qassiarsuk.

It is also open to freelance hire, such as translating from English or Danish to Greenlandic.

It also a opportunity to hire SG Tours in a off season (winter time).

I hope that SG Tours will grow slowly through out the years and I already feel great support from other entrepreneurs in South Greenland.
