Registration is now open for the 14th annual Running of the Moskus on August 17th, 2025. Early registration date is July 15th!
Running of the Moskus is a 1/2 marathon and 5km race following the Watson River that flows from the Greenland Ice Sheet. The race is a fun community event that unites the physical and virtual community in Kangerlussuaq and raises money for the local school.

If you are planning to run the race virtually, to ensure you receive your race t-shirt prior to the race day, make sure to register by July 15th.
